The Pharmacology Labs at Manikaran College of Pharmacy are state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to exploring the intricate interactions between drugs, chemicals, and biological systems. Pharmacology, as a branch of pharmacy, delves into the mechanisms of action of drugs, understanding how they exert beneficial or adverse effects on cells, tissues, and the entire body. Our labs are equipped with a range of modern and sophisticated instruments including student Organ baths, Rotating drums, photoactometer, Rotarod, Electroconvulsometer, Plethysmograph, Eddy’s hot plate, Histamine chamber, Cook’s pole climbing apparatus, among others. Additionally, we provide computer-based simulations and software to enhance students’ learning experiences. Our Human Anatomy Museum complements these labs with an extensive collection of charts and models, enriching students’ understanding of human physiology and pharmacological concepts. The Pharmacology Labs offer a hands-on and comprehensive learning environment, preparing students for a career in pharmaceutical research, drug development, and healthcare.
