The Pharmacognosy Labs at Manikaran College of Pharmacy are meticulously designed and fully equipped to facilitate comprehensive learning and research in the field of natural medicines. Pharmacognosy encompasses the study of medications derived from natural sources, as well as the history, cultivation, and collection of crude drugs. Our labs feature state-of-the-art instruments such as projection microscopes, colony counters, Sterility testing units, Zone Readers, Laminar air flows, and BOD incubators, among others. These advanced tools enable students to engage in hands-on experimentation, analysis, and characterization of natural compounds, ensuring a thorough understanding of pharmacognosy principles and practices. The labs also provide a conducive environment for conducting research projects, fostering innovation, and advancing knowledge in herbal medicine and traditional remedies.
